RULES AND REGULATIONS
 

GENERAL RULES

 

Rules of usage are posted in the dormitories, craft building, rest rooms and Nurses Station.

Cost for repair of damages will be paid by the user group.

GRAFFITI IS NOT PERMITTED.  THIS INCLUDES SHAVING CREAM, MOUSSE, PAINT,PEN, ETC.

NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED IN ANY CAMP BUILDING.

Cigarette butts must be disposed of in containers provided by the camp.

Grounds should be policed for trash and deposited in dumpsters or trash cans..

Open fires in designated areas only.

Any special arrangements for using grounds should be discussed with the camp manager.

The upper area (dorm area) is closed to all day groups.

A delegated member of each user group responsible for overseeing camp clean-up.

Any problem situation should be discussed with the camp caretaker.

Any use of water balloons, the balloons must be picked up at the end of your event.  Balloons are unsightly and a hazard to wildlife that try to eat them.

Please leave the camp a better place then when you arrived.

 

PAVILION

 

 

NO PARKING IN THE DRIVEWAY

All used charcoal must be put in the red containers provided.  DO NOT PUT CHARCOAL ON THE GROUND.

All trash, garbage, cigarette butts, balloons, etc. must be put in trash cans.

All moved tables, etc., must be returned to order as posted, if not restored to posted order your group will be billed..

Use the hose provided to wash concrete floor.

Closing time is 10:00 P.M. sharp.

No pets allowed.

 

POOL

 

 

NO ONE IS TO BE IN THE FENCED POOL AREA UNLESS A CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD HIRED BY THE CAMP BOARD IS PRESENT.

Please used the foot shower, prior to entering the pool area.

NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING, NO GLASS CONTAINERS OR RUNNING IS ALLOW IN THE POOL AREA

Keep off the rope.

Only one person on the diving board at a time.

OBEY THE LIFEGUARD AT ALL TIMES.

The lifeguard has the right to expel unruly individuals or groups from the pool and or camp grounds.

 

DINING HALL

 

Do not sit on the tables.

At the completion of the event, wipe off the tables used, sweep the floor, mop the floor in the dining hall and kitchen (if used), empty all trash cans in the dumpsite behind the dining hall

Using groups will be charged for damage and extra clean-up.

Closing time is 10:00 P.M. sharp.

All trash, garbage, cigarette butts, balloons, etc., should be put in trash cans.

Please police area outside and around the dining hall if your group was outside.

NO PETS ALLOWED.

 

ALCOHOL POLICY

 

            Any Group or person using any part of the Harford County 4-H Camp  at the Rocks shall be exclusively responsible for conducting themselves and their activities in a lawful manner, including the laws relating to the use, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverage, and said group and its members, guests and invitees assume the risk of danger created by any use or consumption of alcoholic beverages.

 

            Intoxication is strictly prohibited on the Camp premises.

 

            The use or consumption of any alcoholic beverages brought onto the premises by any group or any member, guest  and invitee of a Group shall be restricted to the specific picnic area assigned to the Group.

 

            No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the Pool area at any time.

 

            Alcoholic beverages shall be brought onto the premises for personal use only.

 

 

*FOR ANY GROUP THAT INTENDS CHARGING MEMBERS, GUEST OR INVITEE FOR ALCOHOL*

 

            Any Group that intends to sell alcoholic beverages to its members, guest and invitees must carry liability insurance for dram shop and / or server of alcohol liability with a policy limit not less than Five Hundred Thousand Dollars and must produce proof of such insurance to the Harford County 4-H Clubs, Inc. as part of its application for reservation.
